Carmelo (“Carm”) Santoro a founder and partner, has more than 40 years of technical and management experience in computer related electronics. In his early career with Motorola Inc. he managed the development on many new products and processes including the M6800 one of the first microprocessors. Throughout his career he has been involved with many companies in the microchip, software, networking and other computer related technologies as well as biotech and home automation.
Prior to his retirement he has served as a senior executive, CEO, director or Chairman of many public and private companies including Motorola, RCA, American Microsystems, Silicon Systems, AST Computer, Ashton-Tate, Platinum Software, Monolithic Memories, Seagate Technology, Dallas Semiconductor, S3, Techniclone, Mentor Graphics, STSN, Abrizio, Attensity, Knowlix, PHAST, and Control 4.
In addition to his current position at Premier Business Advice, he serves as a director of McCain, NexTalk and MaintenanceNet,all privately held companies
Carm was raised in New York and has a BS in Physics from Manhattan College and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
